Dan’s Silverleaf – B-53s, Swandiver, Superbrowls – 10 p.m.
Celebrate your Halloween night with these local cover acts. You’ll hear familiar tunes from The Violent Femmes, Misfits, and the B-52’s. This show was a huge hit last year, with tons of boozin’, dancin’, and shout-out singin’. You can purchase your tickets in advance on Prekindle, it’s a $10 cover.
For you lovers of blood and gore, this is the Halloween event for you. Come thrash out to some rare, special acts, including Terminator 2 and Geistheistler. Harvest House – Dark Side of Vinyl – 9 p.m.
Gracing the Harvest House stage this Halloween are two cover acts. First, Vinyl will be doing a full set covering Pink Floyd’s Dark Side of the Moon, an unusually appropriate soundtrack for the spooky holiday. Following them is a special set by The Carz. Stay until the end for the costume contest at Midnight!
The Foundry Bar, Dallas – The Coathangers, The Birth Defects – 8 p.m.
If you’re already familiar with these groups, you’ll understand why we’re promoting a show in Dallas. Not only will it be a super fun night, it’s FREE. You can purchase your tickets in advance, too, to guarantee admission. Be careful if you’re driving — you might want to find a place to crash just to be safe.
Sunday November 1
Paschall Bar – Suit & Tie Sunday – 8 p.m.
Fight off your Halloween hangover with a little hair of the dog. Pull out your fanciest attire and come out to sip some cocktails and listen to a little live jazz. It’s a fun, FREE event that’ll be a great way to help ease into your week. Consider it a nightcap before bed.
