Greater Denton Arts Council | ARTS OPEN CALL Opening Reception with 35 Denton | 6 p.m.
Be the first to see the 200 submissions to the first Arts Open Call at the beautiful Patterson-Appleton Arts Center in historic downtown Denton. This event, presented in partnership by 35 Denton and the Bearded Monk, is free to the public. You can purchase local artist’s wares at the exhibition or through the online marketplace. Half of the proceeds will go to the education services offered through the Greater Denton Arts Council. More information online.

North Texas Fair and Rodeo | North Texas Vintage Variety Marketplace | March 5th & 6th
Come down to the fairgrounds this weekend for upscale vintage items, antiques, boutique clothing, jewelry and so much more. There will be live music, great food and plenty of shopping to be done. Vendors from all over Texas will be there to showcase the best their collections have to offer.
Three Links: Deep Ellum | Jessie Frye: Boss Bitch Beer Release w/ Sudie & Birds of Night at Three Links | 9 p.m.
Come to Three Links for a great night of delicious brews and awesome live music. Boss Bitch is a pecan porter with fermented cherries & raspberries at 7.2% and this will be your chance to be one of the first to taste Jessie Frye’s newest beer courtesy of Nobel Rey Breweing. Bands start at 9:30 and doors at 9. On the bill is Sudie, The Birds of Night and, of course, Jessie Frye. Tickets available online or $10 at the door.
